For thirty years, this place has held retreats, funerals, weddings, vestries, leadership cohorts, and recovery communities. Every guest treated as someone created in God's image. That work is sustained, in part, by people who believe in it.
Donations are processed by Qgiv — a secure, encrypted platform used by the Episcopal Diocese and thousands of nonprofits nationwide. The Solomon Center is a 501(c)(3); your gift is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
The Solomon Center is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana, operated as a hospitality enterprise in service of that ministry. Our guest fees cover most of what it takes to run the property — but the margin between sustaining and flourishing depends on the generosity of people who understand what this place is for.
The 2025 facility restoration — modernized HVAC throughout, new roofs across campus, a renewed dining hall — was funded by a $300,000 leadership gift, $386,000 in insurance recovery, and nearly $450,000 from our own carefully managed reserves. Total investment: nearly $1.25 million. The building is renewed. The next generation of stewardship begins now.
Builds the long-term foundation — additional facility improvements, equipment renewal, and an endowment to ensure the Solomon Center remains here for the next generation.
Restricted Gifts: If you'd like to direct your gift to a specific purpose — a named program, a particular space, scholarship support, or another intention — note your wishes in the donation form, or contact Fr. Robert directly to discuss. We honor donor intent.

When you give to the Solomon Center, you're sustaining a place where Catholic schools form their students, where the Diocese gathers its clergy, where vestries plan, where leadership cohorts step back from the noise, and where recovery communities find space to do the work of restoration. The chapel. The lake. The trail under the pines. The kitchen that knows your dietary needs by Saturday. All of it, kept alive by people who understand what it's for.
