From Baton Rouge
Take Interstate 12, EAST, toward Slidell. Pass Hammond. Take the
"Robert" exit (# 47). At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp, turn
RIGHT (THIS IS NOT AN ERROR). Go 12 miles, and the Center will be on
your Right, well signed.
From Covington
Choice # 1: Take I-12 West, and use New Orleans directions.
Choice # 2: Go out past Covington High School, onto highway 190,
heading West. Pass the blinking light at Goodbee. At the Stop Light at
Robert, turn Right. Go 11 miles, and the Center will be on the Right,
well signed.
Choice # 3: Take highway 25 North, to Folsom. As you enter
Folsom, turn Left on highway 40. Pass Global Wildlife on your Right. You
will then come to a STOP sign. Turn RIGHT. Go 1 mile, and the Center
will be on your Right.
From Points North
Traveling South on I-55, exit at the Amite exit. Turn Left at the bottom
of the exit ramp. Note your mileage as you cross the railroad tracks. At
8.8 miles, turn Right on Hwy. 445. Stay on 445, and at 16.1 miles you
will pass St. Dominick's Church on your Left. At 17.9 miles, the Center
will be on your Left. There is no sign facing North, but look for a big
stone gate with a cross on top, lighted at night. |
From New Orleans
Cross the Causeway. Go straight (3 miles) to Interstate 12. Take I-12,
WEST, toward Hammond. Take the "Robert" exit (# 47). At the stop sign at
the end of the exit ramp, turn RIGHT. Go 12 miles, and the Center will
be on your Right, well signed.
From New Orleans Airport
Exit the Airport onto Airline Drive, turning Right. After about 3 miles,
take the first exit ramp on your Right, where you will enter an elevated
roadway. Stay Right until you merge with other lanes onto I-310. Once on
the main portion, drift into the Left lane, and take the exit up and
over onto I-10 heading West, toward Baton Rouge. Then, bear Right onto
I-55, which begins there. Stay on I-55 until it returns to ground level
(you have been on elevated roadway for 39 miles!) and a few miles later
turn Right onto Interstate 12, toward Slidell. Take the "Robert" exit.
At the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp turn Right, and go 12
miles. The Center will be on your Right, well signed.
From Points East And Northeast
Heading West on Interstate 10, whether from Alabama, Florida, etc. or
having joined I-10 from whatever other direction, as you enter Louisiana
you will almost immediately turn onto Interstate 12, which starts there.
Take the "Robert" exit (# 47), turn right at the stop sign at the end of
the exit ramp, and go 12 miles. The Center will be on your Right, well
signed. |
